PROPOSED TWO TURBINE 100 MW PLANT

New plant is be placed to the north on a shelf about three feet higher than south part of lot. The ammonia tank is to stay in the same place as it is now. Now the existing peaker is between the ammonia tank and the river. This new arrangement will leave the tank where it now is. The existing peaker is on the southern part of the lot. This tank is not only a terrorist target because it is so explosive, but it is an accident waiting to happen. Even if there is no explosion there is danger inherent from accidental spills and what is called ammonia slip.

Heartland Meat Company is on the other side of the west fence. There are 77 employees who are in and out of the parking lot all day long within 50-100 feet of this ammonia tank and where trucks will be refilling it every two or three weeks (220 hours of operation).
